Experience & Qualifications
I’ve been volunteering as a counsellor for a men’s wellbeing service. Here I’ve helped clients process a range of trauma; working with both victims and perpetrators of both sexual and physical abuse, among other concerns. I work part time as a counselling tutor, something I developed a passion for during my own studies.
I have been a key worker within a homeless organisation, and a support worker in a mental health care home. I’ve had a wide range of jobs and lived all over the UK, which has exposed me to a lot of diversity, which I really value, all of which helps me with my work as a therapist.
I have lived experience of a range of mental health problems, disordered eating, trauma, bereavement, complex family dynamics and estrangement and existential questioning.
